Student Registration
Student registration for grades K-12 for the 2024-25 school year begins March 1, 2024, and can be accepted anytime during the school year if new to Cheney Public Schools.

If you are unsure of which Cheney Public Schools attendance boundary you reside in, please click the button below to determine the appropriate school to register your child:
Registrations will be processed as they are submitted, with the exception of summer office closures.
Cheney Public Schools is committed to registering new students and providing quality learning opportunities.
If you are seeking to homeschool your child and your child is between the ages of 8 - 18 you must file a Declaration of Intent annually by September 15 with the school district. The form can be found here.
If, for any reason, you are unable to use the online student registration system through Family Access, please complete the appropriate registration forms found below to start your registration process. Your neighborhood school can answer any questions about this process and assist with the completion of this paperwork. Once your forms are complete and you have gathered necessary documentation, contact your neighborhood school (contact information at the bottom of this page) to make arrangements to finalize the registration process.

You will be required to provide proof of birthdate, immunization records, and proof of residence (such as a utility bill) when registering.
*Kindergarten: Children must be 5 by August 31st to be in Kindergarten that school year. The parent/guardian registering the child must also provide a valid ID.
